UNIQUE PG-20 TAPE is made of an unidirectional layer of cabled glass yarns impregnated under tension with a modified thermo setting resin for class "H" Insulation.
UNIQUE PG-20 TAPE is supplied in "b" stage semi-cured Resin Systems. The free flow charecteristic of the resin avoids air space in the band and there by improves heat dissipation factor, and greatly adds its stability under all operating conditions.
Designed for use as banding restrain on Traction Armatures, large generators, and other rotating electricla machines, UNIQUE PG-20 TAPE can also be used for the banding of transformer cores & Transformer Tie-loops.
